Molds are ubiquitous but can be detrimental when they grow indoors. Controlling mold growth is an essential factor in maintaining healthy indoor air quality. When mold grows on the interior of a building envelope, spores and biological vapors from some molds can cause health reactions in certain people. CRB provides mold assessment and remediation oversight to commercial, residential and retail building managers and provides support to insurance firms and construction contractors.

CRB's hygiene professionals provide expert mold assessment and management services to help responsible parties quickly and effectively respond to indoor air concerns. We recognize that the key to controlling mold growth is most effectively prevented by controlling and eliminating moisture intrusion into building materials.

A mold survey begins with a careful visual inspection and electronic moisture measurements of a building for evidence of mold growth or moisture damage. We can quickly implement a response plan when conditions that lead to mold growth are observed. 

Additional assessment for mold involves laboratory analysis of air samples or bulk samples to identify specific mold types. CRB understands that careful comparison of laboratory results with background conditions and visual results is essential to make reliable recommendations and to prevent unnecessary response actions.
