CRB Geological & Environmental Services was founded in 1992 in Florida to provide high-quality, technically sound environmental consulting services to clients facing complex regulatory, development, and environmental challenges. The firm was built on the experience and vision of professionals who had spent years working in large and mid-sized environmental consulting firms and recognized the need for a more practical, client-focused, and technically rigorous approach.
CRB began as a private partnership providing environmental consulting services in Miami, Florida, and quickly earned a reputation for delivering defensible technical work, responsive service, and real-world solutions. As client needs grew, CRB expanded its geographic footprint, opening offices in Boston, Massachusetts in 1993 and Greenville, South Carolina in 1998, allowing the firm to better support projects throughout the eastern United States and beyond.
Today, CRB provides environmental consulting, environmental engineering, regulatory compliance, remediation, site assessment, air quality, hydrogeology, and litigation support services to clients across the country. With more than 34 years in business and over 200,000 projects completed, CRB has become a trusted partner for developers, property owners, industrial operators, attorneys, lenders, and public agencies.
