Does Every IAQ Assessment Require Air Testing?

OSHA does not have a specific comprehensive indoor air quality standard, although OSHA requirements may apply to specific workplace air contaminants, ventilation systems and occupational exposures. ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 62.1, Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, establishes minimum ventilation and other requirements for applicable nonresidential buildings and is an important industry reference for ventilation-related IAQ conditions.
